NAACP gives black Senator an “F”

Tim Scott is the first African-American to be elected to both the House AND the Senate.


Senator Scott is a Republican representing the great state of South Carolina. The NAACP gives him a flunking grade.

In an interview on the left-wing MSNBC, Senator Scott was confronted with the NAACP’s revulsion for his conservative approach to lifting Blacks out of poverty:

MSNBC: “You say you’re concerned about kids that are growing up in the wrong zip code and, like yourself, had a tough start on the way out. But if we look at agencies that are following some of your voting records, they have concern. And the NAACP has given you an ‘F’ on their annual scorecard…”

Senator Scott took it all in stride:
